The versiondog software developed by AUVESY is used in industrial environments to centralize and manage programming projects and automatically backup and detect changes to programs and other device data, including unwanted or malicious changes. It provides easily comprehensible version documentation, protects valuable production data and ensures uninterrupted production.
AUVESY software is designed to operate with the automation systems of multiple manufacturers (including Siemens, Schneider Electric, ABB, Kuka, Rockwell and Mitsubishi). It is in use in more than 45 countries in a wide variety of industries. Our customers use versiondog to manage data across the full spectrum of automation equipment, including PLCs, CNCs, SCADA systems, HMIs, drives and robots.
Dr.-Ing. Tim Weckerle
Chief Executive Officer
Dr.-Ing. Tim Weckerle started working at AUVESY in 2012 in software development. He soon became the Head of Business and Information Development. As of 2017, he is the CEO and a shareholder, responsible for overall orientation, strategy, and sale.
Chief Operations Officer
Stefan Jesse holds a degree in Business Administration and has been working in IT for over 20 years. He has extensive experience in top management positions, most recently spending several years as the head of a large German IT systems integrator. Since 2020 he has taken on the role of Chief Operations Officer at AUVESY.
In 2008, Piet Wissing started at AUVESY as a State-Certified Business Administrator. In 2017 he became an Authorized Officer. As a member of the management team, his areas of responsibility are finance, administration, human resources and purchasing.
Robert Glaser was one of the first three AUVESY employees. From the beginning, he played a significant role in the development of versiondog. Now a shareholder, he is looking after the establishing a subsidiary of AUVESY.
Thomas Hörauf is a qualified automation engineer with over 22 years of experience in marketing and in building distribution networks. He has been with AUVESY since 2008. A long-term shareholder, he is responsible for channel management and global accounts.

Dr. Thorsten Sögding holds a doctorate in chemical engineering. He started at AUVESY in 2015 and is now Director of Customer Services. He is responsible for customer care and quality management and is the driving force behind the AUVESY working groups.

ALLIANCE FOR CYBERSECURITY
The Alliance for Cybersecurity is a Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) initiative founded in cooperation with the Federal Association for Information Technology, Telecommunications and New Media (BITKOM). AUVESY is a participant in the Alliance for Cybersecurity. Our aim is to increase cybersecurity in automated production and strengthen resistance to cyberattacks with the help of our versiondog software.

We formed the AUTOMOTIVE working group and the REGULATED INDUSTRIES working group to better understand those requirements and feed ways of meeting them into the versiondog roadmap. And we very much value the opportunity to openly and frankly exchange information in a networking forum based on trust and the search for solid. workable solutions.

THE AUVESY CONFERENCE 2020
In 2019, more than 100 versiondog customers attended the AUVESY Conference. Their feedback was overwhelmingly positive: 100% of those who attended the AUVESY Conference 2019 rated the event as "very good" or "excellent"! That makes us look forward even more to this year's conference on 14 & 15 May. There will be exclusive speakers from the world of IT and automation as well as from our technical partners and, of course, from AUVESY.
Please note that all AUVESY staff at the event speak English, as do the vast majority of attendees. So there is a lot to be gained from joining us, even if you don’t understand German. We would, however, like you to know in advance that most of the talks will be given in the German language.
